Flaggert & Associates (FACT)

During my freelance work with Flaggert & Associates (FACT), I contributed to a strategic communications and planning firm that operates at the intersection of politics, community development, and public affairs. Based in Oklahoma City, FACT works with political candidates, local communities, innovative companies, and nonprofit partners across tribal, state, and federal levels, with a clientele spanning education, public safety, economic development, and city planning. Working within FACT's three-pillar framework of direct mail, digital media, and data, I supported content and communications efforts that helped shape how clients told their stories to targeted audiences.

Two of the clients I contributed to were Copper Bear Consulting and the Cleveland County Economic Development Coalition. For Copper Bear, a firm dedicated to tribal sovereignty and Indigenous economic development, I provided photography and videography that supported their brand presence and helped visually communicate their work to tribal leaders and stakeholders across the country. For the Cleveland County Economic Development Coalition, I brought that same visual storytelling lens to a community-centered effort focused on strengthening Cleveland County's economic future. In both cases, my role extended beyond the camera. I approached each project with an eye toward how the content served the broader brand narrative, what story it told, and how it positioned the organization with its audience. Working across sectors as distinct as tribal land policy and regional economic development deepened my understanding of how strategic messaging functions across civic life and gave me a strong foundation in adapting brand thinking to audiences with very different needs and stakes.
